SkateNSW Artistic Coaching Accreditation 2022 - Her Sport, Her Way Workshop (2021 reboot)

The Her Sport, Her Way Sports initiative aims to empower women in sport. As such Skate NSW will run an Artistic Coaching Accreditation (Intermediate Level) for Coaches as a way of furthering the contribution of women in Artistic Roller Skating.

On Skates Practicals will be held as follows:

Saturday 25/06/2022 - PCYC Hawkesbury Indoor Stadium
12:00 - 14:00 - Practical*
13:30 - 15:00 - State Team Training

Sunday 26/06/2022 - PCYC Hawkesbury Indoor Stadium
12:00 - 14:00 - Practical*
13:30 - 15:00 - State Team Training

Sessions will be presented by *Student Coaches under the supervision of Skate Australia Elite Level Coaches/World Skate Level 3 Artistic Teachers, Esther Ambrus & Gawaine Davis

The Practical sessions will be available to invited Skate Stars/Development students to further improve their skills and learn some new things.

Other Coaches

Coaches that wish to attend for Education, but not participate in the Accreditation may register as a Coach

$10 for either day

$20 for both days

Skaters

Different classes will be organised for both Rising Stars and Elementary/Championship Level. Skaters are encouraged to participate in all lessons appropriate to their level. If unsure, please seek advice from your coach regarding what classes you should attend.

Saturday

Skater - Artistic Free Skating

Day/Time: 12:00 - 14:00pm – Saturday 25th June 2022 - PCYC Hawkesbury Indoor Stadium

Skaters: Rising Stars & Elementary

Cost: $30

The session will cover the following modules:

- IB & IF Upright Spins

- Toe Loop Jump

- OF & OB Upright Spins + IB Sit Spin

Skater – State Team Training

Day/Time: 13:30 - 15:00pm – Saturday 25th June 2022 - PCYC Hawkesbury Indoor Stadium

Skaters: NSW State Team

Cost: $20

The session will cover the following disciplines:

- Compulsory Dance & Style Dance

- Free Skating & Free Dance

Sunday

Skater - Artistic Free Skating

Day/Time: 12:00 - 14:00pm – Sunday 26th June 2022 - PCYC Hawkesbury Indoor Stadium

Skaters: Rising Stars & Elementary

Cost: $30

The session will cover the following modules:

- Change Upright Spins

- Salchow Jump

- Combination Upright Spins, OF Sit Spin & OB Camel Spins

Skater – State Team Training

Day/Time: 13:30 - 15:00pm – Sunday 26th June 2022 - PCYC Hawkesbury Indoor Stadium

Skaters: NSW State Team

Cost: $20

The session will cover the following disciplines:

- Compulsory Dance & Style Dance

- Free Skating & Free Dance
