SkateNSW Artistic Coaching Accreditation 2022 - Her Sport, Her Way Workshop
The Her Sport, Her Way Sports initiative aims to empower women in sport. As such Skate NSW will run an Artistic Coaching Accreditation (Intermediate & Advanced Level) for Coaches as a way of furthering the contribution of women in Artistic Roller Skating.
On Skates Practicals will be held as follows:
Saturday 15/10/2022 - Penrith Skatel
16:45 - 18:45 - Practical (Rink)
Sessions will be presented by Student Coaches under the supervision of Skate Australia Elite Level Coaches/World Skate Level 3 Artistic Teachers, Esther Ambrus &/or Gawaine Davis
The Practical sessions will be available to invited Skate Stars/Development students to further improve their skills and learn some new things.
All participants must register here in order to participate - see below for details.
Other Coaches
Coaches that wish to attend for Education, but not participate in the Accreditation may register as a Coach (cost $20 per day).
Skaters
Different classes will be organised for both Rising Stars and Elementary/Championship Level. Skaters are encouraged to participate in all lessons appropriate to their level. If unsure, please seek advice from your coach regarding what classes you should attend.
Saturday
Skater - Advanced Artistic Skating – Free Skating
Day/Time: 4:45pm - 6:45pm – Saturday 15th October 2022 - Penrith Skatel
Skaters: Elementary/Championship
Cost: $25
The session will cover the following modules:
- Development of Sit Spins
- Development of Toe Assisted Jumps (Toe Loop, Flip & Lutz)
