SkateNSW Artistic in conjunction with Twin City Roller Skating Club is pleased to invite all skaters from Rising Stars to Championship level, as well as all coaches and officials, to the Skate NSW Artistic Winter Skate Camp + The Rising Stars Competition on the 9-11th of August 2024. Exact times will be sent out once numbers are finalised.

The Full Seminar will cover Friday Afternoon, All Saturday, and Sunday Morning + Rising Stars Competition

The Half Seminar will cover from Midday Saturday to Sunday Morning + Rising Stars Competition

Day passes will be for Friday Seminar or Saturday seminar only. 

Additionally, those who only wish to compete in the competition without participating in the seminar can do so as well.

The workshop will be presented by SkateNSW's own International recognised World Skate Level 3 Coaches, Esther Ambrus and Gawaine Davis, ably assisted by:

• Alexandra Ravenscroft-Mulvey (International level skater / Advanced Coach / National Official - Tecnhical Specialist)
• Robert Karp (International level skater / Advanced Coach / National Official - Tecnhical Specialist)

NSW is fortunate to have two Australian Coaches recognised by World Skate, Esther Ambrus & Gawaine Davis, who along with International level Athletes, Alexandra Ravenscroft-Mulvey and Robert Karp (who are also Advanced Level Coaches, and Officials - with both being National level Technical Specialists). 

The seminar will be open to SkateNSW CAT 1, 2 or 3 members (CAT 4 members can upgrade to CAT 3) and aimed at Rising Stars Elementary level skaters, with a strong emphasis on inclusivity and interclub friendship.

The seminar will cover a range of skills, including:

- Off-skate session for fitness, conditioning and flexibility

- Proper Jump and Spin Technique for Free Skating

- Simple to complex Figures 

- Compulsory Dance Pattern and Movement

- Artistic Skills and Choreography

- General Skating Skills Forwards and Backwards

Private lessons may be available for those who express interest and time permitting.
