Please find attached a letter from Skate Australia confrming the E-trading Endorsement for Skate Australia Inc by Gallaghers.
Therefore any club wishing to provide any form of Online training needs to inform the SkateNSW Office with the details for Sanctioning (same as with regular training). If you are using your Club Portal, you may simply send the link to the Online Event/Training.
In addition to the advise from Skate Australia, I would suggest the following:
- Provide Online registration terms (Event Waiver) the same as all other Sanction Events. You can find these details here:
https://www.skatensw.org.au/eventsregister/59842/
- Provide either written or verbal (or both) guidelines covering the following:
- Safe Space in which to participate (including enough space without obsticles, level floor, not splippery, no pets or young children in the space, etc)
- Fit & Healthy to participate / stop if not feeling well or if too intense
- Dressed appropriately for online exercise (ie able to move / stretch etc and also if appearing via video, that they are dress appropriately)
- Good social behaviour / anti bullying whilst online
- Off Skate Programs would be preferable over On Skate Programs. Unless the space in which they are practising would be considered large enoungh and safe, then on Skate Programs should be avoided.
For Outdoor training, please note normal sanctioning conditions apply:
- Venue Facility check should be completed (prior to first training session)
- Pre-Activity Safety Checklist should be completed (prior to each training session)
- Training Session should be planned and supervised by an Accredited Coach
- Club / Organiser to keep records of those attending, including any injuries sustained during training session
Again, any club wishing to provide any form of Outdoor training needs to inform the SkateNSW Office with the details for Sanctioning (same as with regular training). If you are using your Club Portal, you may simply send the link to the Online Event/Training.
If you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Stay Safe!
Regards,
Gawaine Davis,
Skate NSW Executive Officer
