As Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to develop the Office of Sport is working closely with NSW Health and other government agencies to monitor its impact on the NSW sport and recreation sectors and the communities we serve.
From Monday, 16 March the government advises against public attendance at all organised nonessential gatherings of 500 people or more.
The Office of Sport understand your concerns around the impact this will have on your events, members and players. The Office of Sport is currently working with NSW to provide expanded advise related to public gatherings and will be in contact as soon as possible with a update.

From Monday, 16 March the federal government advises against public attendance at all organised nonessential gatherings of 500 people or more.
People who have been a close contact of a confirmed case of COVID-19, or who returned from or transited through a listed higher risk country must not attend public gatherings until 14 days after leaving the country or having contact with a confirmed case even if they are completely symptom free.
Those undergoing COVID-19 testing also must not attend public gatherings until they have received their results.
